Joss Whedon Made A(nother) Movie

Joss Whedon, Overacheiver.

Not content with helming The Avengers, arguably the biggest comic book movie EVER, director Joss Whedon has apparently just finished shooting a side project for Bellwether Pictures titled Much Ado About Nothing.  Nothing is known about the project other than what you see on the poster above.  Is it a short?  Is it a feature?  Who knows!  The phrase "based on a play" would lead one to believe that it will be based on the infamous work by Shakespeare, but I'm betting on an adapted script in a modern setting.

Anyone who's familiar with Whedon's work can tell you that the cast list above is a veritable who's who of Whedon's favorite onscreen playmates, so this feels like something the group put together in their spare time, ala Dr. Horrible.  The man in the scuba mask looks to be Fran Kranz, who was easily one of the (if not the absolute) best things about Whedon's short lived series Dollhouse.

Speaking of, if you enjoyed Dollhouse, I'd consider donating to Lust For Love, an independent movie that's gathering its funding using Kickstarter.  The movie will star Kranz, Dichen Lachman, and Enver Gjokaj from Dollhouse as well as Dr. Horrible's Felicia Day and Maurissa Tancharoen.  They're only about $500 short of hitting their goal and they've got till November 11th to close the gap.  Plus they'll send you stuff for being a supporter!
