Joseph Gordon-Levitt is just everywhere these days. If you're thinking about a trip to the cinema this weekend, I'd recommend checking out 50/50. It's a funny, emotional and ultimately endearing movie about cancer and the performances by Gordon-Levitt, Anna Kendrick and Seth Rogen (yes, really) help to push it over the top.
Anyway, here's the title for one of his many upcoming flicks, Premium Rush, which centers around a bike messenger in NYC who is charged with delivering a mysterious package and ends up on the run from gangsters and dirty cops alike. Check it.
While the first trailer is a little light on plot, I remember this script and there's a lot more going than we're seeing here. Plus, aside from just being ubiquitous, Gordon-Levitt is turning into a powerhouse performer, one of those guys whose very presence is enough to get me into a theater. Facing off against future-Zod Michael Shannon? Sold.
