Red Tails is a Lucas produced project that laid dormant in development limbo for years upon years and finally went before cameras under the rookie direction of Anthony Hemingway. That was two years ago. It's got a pretty impressive cast including Bubbles from The Wire and Cuba Gooding Jr, who I always enjoy seeing sans snow dogs and gay cruise ships. However, the real star of this show appears to be the aerial dogfight scenes, which look breathtaking to say the least. Scorcese's The Aviator really set the bar for innovative aerial photography and this trailer looks hungry to prove its combat worth.
